Are you having any trouble registering it here in the states??? There are a couple cars I would love to have but they would need to be shipped in. One being the Smart Car by Mercades. Canada has it but the US dosen't.

 

She was on the road last year, hence the plates, got taken off for an engine rebuild, and i got in over my head there w/ very few parts available in the US, and international sales suck cuz you can't order straight from the dealer you have to be there then ship it. The car is fun on the street esp if the passenger hangs out the window (summertime obviously) cuz it freaks out the other drivers.

Ok, as far as a day goes, her first true weekend on the road will be the 10th-11th so I would say the 17th for just incase there are some troubles getting everything back running good. What does everyone think? Saturday the 17th? As far as a place to meet, where ever is closest to everyone.

 

the majority of the new england members usually meet in Marlborough mass. at teh Solomon pond mall, but let us know what you want we can always roll around.

How does meeting at Rockingham Mall or Rockingham Park accross the street sound?

 

A mall on a weekend during the 1st/2nd/3rd/any weekend in december = not so good idea. Other places though....i'm down for a drive

 

How about a local pool hall? There's a decent one in Lowell that I frequent.

 

hey if this is a definite i need to know cause i missed the last 2 because of work....my boss is a dick he needs a 2 week heads up notice for scheduling reasons

 

I am planning it as a definite, and I wasn't just saying the mall there is the greyhound park next door, nut a pool hall is cool and lowel isn't too far either.

Yeah anywhere north of the Mass Pike and South of Concord NH is fine by me. Unless it is a huge meet like we had at the Providence place mall. Then I'll travel farther.

With the weather getting bad you definetly need a place where we can hang out in doors. If you pick a date and a place otakugt4 you should get a good response since there is a core group of 7 to 10 people who usually show up. Set a time and place and see how many people reply.

Otakugt4 just set up a date before December 9. I wont be able to make any meets after that for at least 60 days. Because i am loosing my licence.:headbang:

I am loosing my licence because of a :bullshit2 speeding ticket i got a few months ago, and since my driving record isn't the greatest. :argh:

I drove my 89 mr2 today in the snow and it was fun going past SUV's stuck on the side of the road :banana:

 

Well she gets her exhaust on the second week of december because we are finishing her off 1st week of dec. so anytime the 10th or later is fine. As for rides I can pick up 3 people (yes the Jap models have 3 belts in the back). As for a meeting place a pool hall is fine. Just a place to hang and not have to worry about gobs of ppl.
