Does anyone have a second gen with an auto up/down feature for all windows? I went to the dealer today to program some customizable features like the interior lighting length, etc., and we saw a field or two about holding down a button on the key fob to open/close the windows.

It’s possible we misunderstood and this is operated by a physical key, however. Does anyone have any insight?

Are there any other features that would be worthwhile to have programmed?

I just tried my 2013 HL Limited and no combination worked. I was pretty sure it wasn’t going to but I thought I’d give it a try. Sorry.

 

The interesting thing is it might be possible with some 2nd Gen Highlanders because the tech and I both thought a setting or two addressed it. But whether or not the setting works is dependent on how the vehicle is outfitted, we think.

Anyway, it's worth a trip to the dealer to set the customizable settings to your preference, there's lots in there!

 

This will not work because on the 2nd Highlander, the auto is only on the driver's door, and the rest of the windows cannot be closed or opened in automatic mode either from the key.
