+1, same here. I think automatic lift of all windows with a remote is dangereous...your kids neck could be in the window.

juss gota get a good alarm/remote system
and someone who knows how to install it
get and auto start while your at it

 

Why would someone use an option like that with kids in the car? Kids that are free to move around at that....

 

i know my wifes old tc had auto up and down both sides......one day i was waxing it and left my rag drapped over the window, i hit the roll up switch and walked away, i stopped just in time to rememeber i left my rag and say it going up. i jumped but was too late it went all the way up hit the top of the frame and them went all the way back down. that was neat but scary test.

 

Interesting thread, the OP is asking if he can have all the windows down with his remote when it is hot out and everyone else were discussing how dangerous it will be to close the windows with the remote.

I actually read the OP but stated that I think it would be dangerous anyway (and therefore imply I would not want it if it does exist) ...I replied to a post stating it is not possible with the OEM system. Got to read all of the posts .

Yeah, doesn't work from factory. Gotta get aftermarket system installed for it to work. Lexus has them though, so maybe you can get a relay from some of their cars.

Like darksparkz indicates, Lexus does have the function for opening all the windows and sunroof with the remote; however, the windows and sunroof cannot be close remotely, seems like the engineers were aware of how dangerous it could be regardless the pinch protection is working or not.

Have anyone try holding the remote's unlock button for a couple of seconds and see what happens? Just curious.

I did read all the posts, it was just interesting at the direction this thread was heading that's all!
