Bad sway bar link replaced but sound still remains? Sturts next?

I had Toyota inspect my car and during inspection noted that I had a bad sway bar link and had a $271 quote.

I have been hearing a thumping/hollow sound from the driver side and was thinking I had a bad strut and has gotten worse now at the years of my 2019 go on. I replaced the sway bar link as it was relatively easy but should I now go with the strut?

Anyone, have this issue and any idea if this is a recall (doubt it) as this was the case almost from the beginning and I just never dealt with it.

Anyone have part number? and cost of install estimate?

They are relatively easy to replace after jacking up front end and removing front wheels.

I'm pretty sure, yes. I'm going through the same thing with my 114,000 mile '19 Corolla Hatch, still with original end links... I got my sway bar bushings from Amayama Japan too for much less $. They should be here this week.

Any idea if my car that is not Japan built takes the same bushing as noted above? I'll have to lookup a video on how to do this if it doesnt require subframe messing :(.
