Hi all,
My pesky Bank 2 430 code is back. I think this is one job I might take off my to-do list and let the dealer handle. Has anyone here done this job? I've read if there are any rusty bolts they can be really difficult to remove - especially without the car on a lift. They said they typically R&R the old O2 sensors to the new one. Is this typical? I would think it would make sense to start with new O2 sensors. I believe my Innova scanner can read O2 sensor voltage so I think I can check that - although not sure what that really tells me about future longevity.

@JohnGD Thanks! I'll ask the service advisor about cost on that. New plugs are on my list down the line as I have to take care of a leaking valve cover gasket and was planning on doing that as part of the job of course. Car has 129k miles and never had plugs changed. No misfires though so hopefully old plugs will play nice with the new catalytic converter until I get that job done. Car doesn't get driven a ton of miles so that's on my side too.
