Looking for some advice , I recently replaced interior lights with LED bulbs and my DOME fuse had popped and about a week later it caused it to melt and just smoke, I replaced it with a new part and when I put in a dome fused all that work melted away. I removed the LED bulbs and the DOME fuse thinking it wouldn't smoke anymore and when I put the key in the ignition it started smoking again. At this point I don't know what it can be or if this is a common problem. Any tips would help I found another piece to replace with the cables but kind of afraid it will be the same outcome

I assume the LEDs were defective and drew too much current. Likely the wires overheated and melted the insulation causing more shorts, or you crossed something when rewiring everything.

You are going to need to ohm out every circuit AND pull a new harness from a junk car...

That is the worst electrical work I have seen in the last decade! My Dad did 2 of those on a Diesel regen system and I am almost disowned him for it. I have seen better work done in prison with a pencil and a plug. I have done better with an electric stove and a butter knife and plumbers solder.

Who could ever help you over the internet with that mess? Yes Yes I can clearly see it is the third wire from the right the blue and white stripped wire!

Undo this and put it back to stock. Get a decent soldering station not a harbour freight soldering iron not hot enough and some shrink tubing and put it all back to stock before you burn the car down and fry the computer!

Bang for the buck Hakko Soldering Station and some shrink tubing. Rosin core solder very fine is fine!

If you were in the a rainforest and a hand grenade took out your wiring and you had to do this terrible level of work to make it home I would say job well done but to do this willingly to your car and think this is how you should do electrical work is shameful and will give me nightmares. This is why most people should not be allowed to touch their car! The next person to own this will think they got a good deal on a car and a few months after they buy it will discover this nonsense and have to fix it properly!
