Can you find the sensor and jumper it out?

 

The first of every month check oil level - tire pressure - add washer fluid if needed . Problem solved.

 

You can pour washer fluid in it. The fact that the message is on means you use the washer so just fill it back up. You don't even have to go out of your way, pour water in it.

 

Is this thread real or a belated April fool's or something?

My Low Blinker Fluid warning came on today. Can I get it to turn off by just adding more fluid, or do I have to go to the dealer?

Great. Where is the reservoir? I don't see anything about it in the manual. Should I be using Toyota fluid, or can I get some from the auto parts store?

The answer is I have water and won't let the reservoir go dry, but I do not want to warning message to dominate. A car mechanic today told me how to solve this small annoyance, so my inquiry is hereby withdrawn. Thanks everyone for the educational humorous replies.

 

How can you prevent letting the reservoir go dry then, without the warning message which you've often caused already? You will repeatedly go dry which will be more of an annoyance, until you burn out your pump.

Just add more fluid, but be aware to notice what color your vehicle requires. Do not mix colors: the paisley is very similar to the plaid fluid, but they work very differently.

 

I prefer blueberry flavor.

 

Just cover up Eedjit Light on the dash w/ a bit of duct tape. Easy DIY.

 

Meter the out put when full and low, if just a resistance plug a resistor of same value when full in plug to make it think it is full

 

If you spoof the sensor you won't know when you're low though

 

I don't know what's wrong with all of you guys: your answers today sound way off base! The fast, easy, thorough and PERMANENT way to solve this problem is.....................just remove the blinkers! DONE!!!

 

Only to those that don't take blinker fluid level as a serious issue!
