Can't move my car but shiftable gear

My Camry hybrid 2007 fails to move forward or backward as I shifted the gear to D or R. Once I shift the gear from D to R, or R to D, I can feel the car moves a little bit and then suddenly stopped. Seems it is locked/stuck by something. Does anyone have ideas about what is going on with my car? Thanks!

Any lights in the dash?
Is parking brake on?
Are the wheels spinning freely or binding, with gear shifter in neutral?
Gear shifter is only a joystick, telling ECM/TCM what you want to do. Shifting is done electronically.
Check 12V for proper voltage. Anything below 11.7 is considered non functional.
No light in the dash.
The break is off.
The gear shifter seems working fine as I can feel the initial momentum when I shifted between D and R. But the wheels or sth seem locked and can't move further.
I didn't check if the wheels can spin freely when in neutral since the car is staying on the ground.

Jack up the front of the car, put blocks on the front and back of one rear tire, and see if the front tires will spin freely in neutral. If not then somehow your joystick shifter is not communicating the right signal to the ECM.
