This rarely happens, this is the 2nd time happening within maybe a few months maybe? I just want to make sure its not going to be a serious problem in the future. When im about to come to a red light or slow down to make a turn, i start to slow down by pressing my breaks or when i just take my foot off the pedal to let the car slow down on itself i would feel quick jerk when its shifting down on its own. It doesn't make a loud noise or grind, is this something normal? or should i get it to a shop to see if there is something wrong with the transmission?

It definetely doesn't sound like a 'normal' thing a CVT would do, or it might do it if it is in "sport" mode, or the engine braking setting on the transmission, but it doesn't sound like a big deal. I wouldn't recommend taking your car to any shop, you should really go to someone who really understands CVT's since it is a pretty delicate system, but toyota's CVT's have been known to pretty much be bulletproof, there should not be a problem, and if you think it gets worse, i would advice to take it to the dealership to apply for a warranty.
But overall, it doesn't sound like a bad thing. When was the last time you took your vehicle to the dealership, there might actually be an ECU update, or campaign on your vehicle, Might as well check, and if there is one, take it as soon as you can.

It’s the rubbery feeling of CVT. How many miles do you have? Maybe Change the CVT fluid

How many miles on your CVT? Have you ever changed the CVT fluid? It should be changed every 30-50k miles at most. I change all of my transmission fluids every 30k miles and I've never had any issues with a transmission that I bought new and took care of properly from day 1.
