Oh man, thats great. tell me how i can do it?

 

I took the radio, and AC controls apart and and unsolder and solder the new color LEDs. this is something that I have always done to all my cars.

 

That's Real Fly Right There....Did U Take Any Pics Of The Process?? what kind of bulbs did u use?? And how long does that take??

 

No I didn't to be honest with you. It takes me a couple of hours to unsolder and re solder all the LEDs.

I could redo the process of removing the radio and take pictures up to the soldering, for everyone to see. If anyone is interested PM me.

 

looks much better then the green (which really doesn't match the rest of the interior lighting at all )

 

Thank you grandpapa, I never understood why Toyota/Lexus uses green on the radio's and on the interior lights.

 

Ok..I know how to take the radio out...but if u can show pics of how to get to the leds....and where do I get The blue leds from

Man that’s nice! I think I would like red for my car does it change all the radio buttons? The light around my key is white but green I’m my 4runner and green in my sisters Camry.

 

How about the steering wheel lighting? anyway to get it to white as well? I just hated that green with the silver reflection, can't see it well.

did you pull the switch from the driver side or the other?
did you disable the power for all windows?

 

I try to pull the switch from both the driver side and the passenger side, it was flashing the light. I didn't know how to just disable power for the windows. It's a Toyota Avalon 2006 XL. I noticed the problem the morning after I brought the car to Meineke to get an oil change. They were also using the ODB II to pull out the code of the engine check light for me. Could it be that they messed something up during that process?

 

Assuming all other windows are working ok.
I will disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes, reconnect
then reset the power windows (you need to follow the manual) and if you have sunroof, you need to set it also. Again, it's in the manual.
