My check engine light keeps comming on and going off. I retrieved the codes and it shows it to be a P0120 TPS/Throttle pedal position sensor "A" circuit malfunction. Has anyone had this code and what was the problem. I don't want to buy a Throttle position sensor just to find out that was not the problem. Advance Auto Parts wants $80.00. Has anybody purchased one from the Toyota dealer. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Thank you very much. I have a 1999 Tacoma 4X4 Reg Cab 2.7 3RZFE 62,000 miles 5 speed manual transmission. Other than the check engine light being ON (sometimes) the truck runs great.
