Not too familiar with Avys but...

At the driver's side, if you have a coinbox, open it up and you should be able to open it even further. Behind it is the fuse box.

It's possible the fuse box is just behind some cover-- check your manual to be sure.

In either case, you'll find the fuses behind it and on the back of the cover or the coinbox, you'll find a diagram of what fuses do what. Find the appropriate fuse, take it out and see if it's broken. If it it is, there should be a spare, on the cover-- use a same amperage and put it in.

(on the same cover, you might find a little pincher tool to help you take out the fuse, other wise I like using needle nose pliers to gently pry fuses out).

Edit: I hope I am not a offending you by assuming your level of knowledge for car electrics.

No problem. Be sure to check back in so we have an update.

As far as spares, you might also find some in the engine compartment's set of fuses (should be right beside the airbox). Otherwise just take the burnt fuse and have the autoparts guy match it for you. If you like, you can also pick some up at the hardware store.

Burnt fuse vs a good one. If you hold it up, you'll see the metal inside the body of the fuse will be broken into two.

awesome, all the above info set everything right except one new thing now. for some reason, the D for drive inbetween the gauges isnt working anymore. went to autozone, bought new fuses for my previous problem, and i changed it right there in the parking lot. but as i was driving away i noticed it wasnt lighting up anymore. i know it was working before i replaced the cig/radio fuse. is this just a coincidence or is there some tie between fuses and those bulbs not working. (its only the D thats not lighing up) also, any info on how to fix this problem?

That's just a coincedence.

D on the dash right? ( I'm assuming all Avys are column shifing Autos). The way to fix that is to go into the dash, I don't know about you but I can ignore something like that. When I had my camry, the D went out too. I just used it to tell me I was in Drive from my peripheral vision-- If I saw light blinking as I was shifing down the gears, I knew I wasn't in D yet.

Good job with the fuses.
