I love em'. ...and for the price, tread wear rating, wet weather handling and that little rim saver lip thingy you cant beat em'. :thumbup:
I have them and I really like them. You can see pics of them in a thread called 205/65/15 Vs. 205/60/16. I went with 215/55/16's. So far they have been great tires. They look good. They have the rim saver lip, which, is awesome. They are great in the rain and when going through deep puddles. They are awesome on dry payment. I'm looking forward to trying them in the snow and on ice. In fact, I plan to try them during the first snowfall and if they perform like the reviews at Tire Rack imply, I will leave them on all winter. I don't think they have a low rolling resistance like lets say a Michelin Pilot or something. Also, the ride can be a tad rougher than what you get with normal touring tires, but that is due to the aggressive tread design. I give them 2 thumbs up! :thumbup: :thumbup:
I have them in 215/17-50 size. They look cool and handle well. They have relatively soft sidewall though, compared to other high performance tires. If you are after all-out performance I think you will not be satisfied. If you like comfort and above average performance - these are a good compromise.
They are relatively quiet, compared to high performance tires, noisier than touring tires. I've had mine for about 13K highway miles and they look good with not too much wear. Noise levels have not changed substantially IMO (my previous Yokohama AVS dB gradually and very noticeably increased in noise after 20K miles and bcame pretty loud around 35K with plenty good thread left)
I find their manufacturing less than ideal - they have a noticeable raised area on the inside, before you mount the tire on the rim, you can see AND feel a lump, where the two ends of the tire are welded together to form a circle. This is probably what contributes to the vibrations I'm having, despite good balance, but I also suspect poor mounting in my case.
Depending on size, they can be AA or A rated for traction. They seem to resist hydroplaning well at high speed. But I don't think they are anything exceptional on wet road otherwise - the car stops better than before, but I feel it could do even better with dedicated high performance tires (as opposed to "all season ultra hugh performance" as these are rated at tirerack)
