Cylinder 5 misfire

Ok so I acquired an 06 highlander with the 3.3l from a relative. It had a misfire due to rats chewing threw the injector wiring harness on #5. Replace the harness swapped injectors around, swapped coil packs around, spark plug looks fine and I’m still getting the misfire on that cylinder. I thought maybe I wired it up wrong but it did the same thing once I flipped the wires. Put them back to the original way I had them and both wires are getting power so I’m completely lost. Maybe someone could give me advice on what else to check or maybe have a link to an oem wiring harness. I bought 2 pig tales from Napa.

When looking at the face of the #5 connector (harness side) the wires should run left to right as follows: red, white with green (possibly red) tracer, green with yellow tracer and white with black tracer. Although you inspected the spark plugs, you didn't say if you swapped them. If you haven't done so already, swap the cylinder 5 plug with another cylinder and see if the misfire moves to the other cylinder.

There could be corrosion or excess resistance in the wires so check that you have continuity to ground on the black with white tracer wire. Check that you have continuity between the white with green tracer to the white with red tracer wire on any of the other cylinders. resistance should be less than 1 ohm.

Let us know if you still have problems after this. The issue may be on the power side or something like compression (although it doesn't sound like there were any issues before the mouse chew).
