I think for 4, it is the law in Canada to keep the daytime light on all the time. I just wonder, is the Canadian HL still made in the US? Canadian Toyota used to have better QC in my experience..

 

The wireless charging is no loss, as the Qi charger is in a terrible location blocking access to the rest of the center console.

Canadian models don't have Road Sign Assist; that's US-only for now.

Toyota makes different models in different places. Highlanders are made in the US (Indiana), even for markets outside North America. The Canadian plants produce RAV4, Lexus RX, and Lexus NX.

Little disappointed about the wireless charging option, I had no idea it didn't come on the Canadian model...

 

I have it on the US model and you really did not miss a lot. It is in a TERRIBLE location and blocks the utilization of the center console. If it was an option I would definitely decline it.

 

You forgot to mention that Toyota included the wrong speedometer units depending on which side of the ambassador bridge your driving off lol

 

The only place in this world that hasn't gone metric is on one side of the bridge, and I am not gonna say who.

 

Change is really, really hard. We thought about changing to the metric system in the late 1970's, but it never did work out.
