Does 2020 to 2021 Corolla LE have damper on glove box?

When you open the glove box to access the cabin air filter, is there a damper attached to the right side of the glove box? I do not see one. I see the plastic part that sticks out where a damper would latch or fit onto. I had a damper on a 2010 Corolla.

I guess some don’t have it? According to the parts site every trim should come with it. But if you don’t, here it is:

Interestingly, I looked on eBay for some used ones and it seems every Toyota glove box damper is available for about $10…. Except this one, where the cheapest list is $26. Though I would bet that those older ones will work fine. Heck, may even be able to get one from a junk yard for Pennies on the dollar.

My Dad has 2020 LE and his doesn't have it. My 21 SE has one. TBH I kinda find it annoying when I want to open the glove box faster.
