Supercharger for 1MZ-FE 03 v6 Highlander...

Looking to buy a TRD supercharger for my Highlander V6 but most dealers dont seem to have or they say Toyota doesnt make superchargers for the 1MZ V6. I think thats bull but I've been looking for a long time and no luck. With 23k miles its time for a major power upgrade. This is the only Mod missing that I need. Any help is appreciated.
If found one for my corolla easilly, but maybe they arent avaliable for all models??

I read somewhere that it wont work on the highlander because of the vvti...that supercharger was meant for the camry and other alike ... but I think it may work with a modification to the engine and hood I hope...but I have search for this and still nobody has done it...just custom turbo kits

Although I've never seen one before today, I hear that the hood doesn't have enough space for it, but if you make it work, I'll be really jealous, so maybe I'm just bias!

A lot of people have had success supercharging fuel injected cars by going with low pressure... adding half a bar, no more. Frequently (but not always) the fuel/air mapping on the computer can handle that density of air. If you exceed what it can handle, however, you get into the realm of custom chip mapping... an expensive proposition if nobody else is modding the same vehicle and you're on your own... if it can handle it, though, you can pick up 40 or 50 HP and a corresponding bump in torque without many other mods. In this as in all things, it's the people who get greedy who run into problems.

what about getting all that power to the ground. can the highlander's drive train handle 100 extra HP? or is it going to twist like a pretzel and break something?

it amazes me how so many people leave about 49 of 50 variables out of the equation of adding significant power to a vehicle not designed for that power.

"ADD BOOST, GO FAST!! WOOOOOO!!"

I havent tested the AWD version of the highlander, I deal mostly with Camry, Solaras, Avalons, Siennas, and ES300's, but I can tell you that these V6 Toyota FWD transmissions have no problem with another 150whp. A Large trans cooler with fan, Redline ATF, and upgraded valvebodies is the most you would need to do to maintain reliability. Now if you wanted to run 15lbs of boost and make 400whp, yes the stock auto trans would probably need to be rebuilt. My base non intercooled kit runs 5.5psi and adds close to 100whp.

How much is the 5PSI kit for a AWD highlander?

What other mods do you have for your HL?
