I referenced this thread below to try to find out, but I do not see the dome light fuse anywhere. Can someone please help me out? My interior lights + radio just quit on me last night.
I have a base model 1994 corolla

So, I found the fuse under the hood, but my interior light + my radio still do not work. Can anyone give me any ideas on what else I should check.

I tried that also, changed both fuses still no radio or interior light. The cigarette lighter still works, so I'm assuming it has to do with the dome fuse. Also My inner fender was previously ripped out and it is pretty snowy up here so I don't know if the wiring under there was affected by the weather. Would that be a possibility?

The dome light fuse is located in the engine bay. The link you provided in your post doesn't show the fuse in the diagram unfortunately, as I only posted it to show that particular member where the stop lamp fuse in is the cabin :)

Here's the complete diagrams for the various fusebox locations, scanned from my factory owner's manual. The dome light fuse is number 13 (seen in the diagram in the middle of the second picture) -

Thanks Kiwi, I have already changed the dome fuse and also the cig/radio fuse and it still does not work. I also nspected the fuses I replaced and they seem fine. ANyone have any other ideas on what would cause both my dome light and radio not to get power?

Well as has been stated, the dome light and radio run off the same electrical connector. You're going to need a wiring diagram and a multimeter if you'd like to proceed to trace down where the problem is. If it's not the fuse I think you're stuck with looking by hand.

Did you ever figure out what the dome light/radio issue was? I'm having a similiar problem with my 1995 Celica - except I also have no clock on the dash. But I do have lighter. Fuses are all fine in drivers side and engine bay. So obviously it's a similiar issue to yours - maybe a wire or relay issue? Thinking of jumping but wanted to see what you did.

We just had the same issue, Dome, Radio, USB, Remote Key not working(For a 2016 Corolla). I'm sure there is something similar in other car years and other cars. Turned out that whoever looked at it before, took out a fuse and placed it in the wrong slot. The culprit was that there needs to be a 30A fuse in the 'D/C CUTOFF' slot. It was missing and the person put that fuse in the 'RADIO' slot. I replaced the radio slot with the appropriate 20A fuse. Then found out from the fuse box cover that there was a fuse(30A) missing for the D/C CUTOFF. Makes sense now, right? I know it's been a few years, but thought if someone was surfing and found this thread, it might help.

Reminds me of the kindergarten puzzles where you put the different shapes into different shaped holes. Is checking that the fuse is in the correct slot really this difficult? You didn't say if this person was a mechanic or not, but even a non-mechanic should be able to check that they got it right, and avoid causing someone else having to go back and fix it like you had to.

I am having this issue with my 2005 corolla. I have cig lighter and clock working, but dome and map light is out. When I turn on the map light switch, my clock lens dim or go out till I turn off the switch. I'm sure I gotta pull the headliner as I've checked all the fuses.

My fault. This is an older gen corolla.

First thing to check, are the door switches. The plunger gets stuck. Or there’s some issue with the wiring. Do you see the door ajar icon turn on with the door open? Does it turn off when you close the door?

If you have the owner’s manual, look at the fuse diagram. I don’t know if this model had the cluster, radio, clock, power locks and windows wired to one fuse like in the 9th gen corolla.

Radio should only have battery voltage, ignition and ground. Is it a aftermarket radio?
