This unit looks very good. 2 years ago I bought the same unit for my 2007 camry. :chug:
Still works perfect. Only connecting my phone with bleutooth doesn't work good. It often gets no connection. How is this one doing as carkit ?
This unit has also other software, what's looking very nice.

Sirius / XM radio work with these? I was looking at something similar for my '11 SE but didn't read anywhere that it was satellite compliant.

This is the same thing. It says specifically: If your car has JBL system then you will need to purchase JBL adapter locally. It dosent fit Camry Hybrid cars.

so there is still some hope.

You are correct. The PAC-TATO wiring harness is the correct harness for the JBL sound system. It will take some wire splicing for it to work. You will need to cut the connectors off of the after market head unit and splice them to the PAC-TATO, so make sure you have good documentation for which wires do what on your aftermarket head unit.

Hey does the DTV work?

 

I think i got the older unit, though different but the same if that makes sense.
The DTV on my unit works, however only for normal TV and picking up a signal with the antenna that came with it is really hard. So i might buy a better antenna to pick up digital TV

However, i live in australia. And australia is always behind with stuff from america. So this probably wont but could apply

 

Two questions. How is visibility during the day. and is there a way to make the navi full screen or does it always have that left hand info area.

 

1) in direct sunlight, the screen is hard to see, but all of them are on the camry, even OEM because of teh angle.

2) Not sure on the full navi screen. Never tried!

 

Ok I think im gonna pull the trigger on this one too. This seems to be the only one with a half decent skin that doesnt look all stupid.

 

Any before and after pics?

 

I really wish these worked with XM Radio. I would sell my Avic-X920BT so I could have a more factory look.

 

Does it have a back up camera option?
