What's the question and what Tacoma are you working on?

 

I’m looking for a EGR valve like the one in the picture my diaphragm has a big hole and I cannot pass emissions without it, I live in Phoenix Arizona and every truck here that I’ve seen or looked at has no EGR valve intake manifold are different. They do not have the holes where mine goes. this guy told me that mine is from California emissions and the ones here in Phoenix are federal. If that makes any sense I called Toyota dealership says this part is discontinued. I cannot believe it because I need it to pass emissions.

 

I’m looking for an EGR valve like the one in the picture. This part is discontinued which makes no sense because my truck will not pass emissions without it.

 

Very ticked off because they do make the EGR valve for a four-cylinder, but it will not fit my six cylinder truck

 

It’s a 1999 sr5 rear wheel drive, extra cab 3.4

 

Did the dealer give you a P/N or is there any on the one you have?
I'm coming up with nothing,

I have looked at T100,Tacoma And 4Runners and the EGR Valve on the 3.4L comes up as Not Applicable. I know the 3.4 in my T100 doesn't have one.

My baad been looking at a lot of p/n's for ya!

 

The 4Runner 3.4 motor I heard that it has a timing belt not like the 3.4 tacoma is a timing chain, and the intake manifold is different, It doesn’t have the port for the EGR valve like the Tacoma. intake manifold, I can take some pictures you understand.

 

 

 

All 3.4's in 1999 Tacoma,4Runners and T100's all use a timing belt.
Same with the intake.

 

The guy that told me this worked for Toyota in Mexico as a mechanic

 

I went to the junkyard spitting several hours looking at 10 Toyota 4runners and no Egr, they all had the intake manifold sealed off where mine has it open for the EGR valve, No luck on 3.4 tacoma.

 

Drop a email to the salvage yard I sent ya the link to, it's in a CA. yard. Have snap a couple pics. Rasily shipped.
