So yerterday I went to start the car. Put the key in, turn to accessory, waited a few seconds, went to turn on the ignition but instead of hearing the starter motor spinning all electronics(radio, clock) just died and wouldn't come back until I disconnected and reconnected the negative terminal. It kept turning off when I went to start the car until a couple of times after disconnecting the battery and connecting it the beeping sound came back on and the car was able to start.

I just wanted to ask, why would all electronics die when i went to start the car, and then suddenly come back alive on its' own?

During normal car starting...

...all the accessories are supposed to stop while you're starting the car. Nothing is more important than having enough juice to that starter and getting the other parts around it to have the juice they need to start.

Toyotas can start on the worst batteries, but really old batteries are still bad for wiring. If you think the battery needs to be tested, no worries, but honestly, from how I took your post, it sounds like normal function of about any car.
