The Taiwanese Corolla is called Altis there. It has a completely different front and rear fascia. The bumpers, lights, grille, hood, and trunk are different from US/Canada models. One great feature is electrically folding mirrors with turn signals on all models. They also have parking sensors on the bumpers. Most come with disc brakes on the rear wheels. There are also sport models with body kit from the factory as well as a bigger spoiler on the X models. In the interior, they have a nice accent color on the door grab handle matching the dash. There is an extra coin compartment on the left of the steering column. Both seatbacks have a pouch instead of only one on US models. On the mid grade and upper models there are courtesy lights in the glovebox, under dash, and on the front doors. The door cupholders are slightly larger. The rear armrest cupholders have a cover. On the rear of the center console there is another little cubbie hole compartment. Those are not too big of a deal but they are all things that are not available on US Corollas. I have added the little coin compartment, Altis badging, door accent to mine. I am looking to add the automatic folding mirrors and maybe the parking sensors to mine. I would also like to add the bigger spoiler and courtesy lights soon. I dont know how to add pictures yet but I would post them when I figure out how to do it. It is not easy here.
