Crown has 16k miles
Already all doors are creaking. I literally opened the back doors 20 or less times total while having this car.

Radio randomly dies killing the whole electrical system and restarts multiple times before randomly working. Will always turn the screen black with a white Grey line before turning off.

Car fob does not work as it should. Literally should work from over 20 feet away, maybe 10 right? Doesn't even work right next to the car. Hold it in your hand and try and open the door, it should unlock but too bad fuck you the car sucks and doesn't do that. Dealer and mechanics have used multimeters on fob, state its working fine and battery works. Clueless on the issue

Why does the app continue to tell me to check the rear seat? Looming right at it, what am I supposed to see? Why is the app so vague on this? What the fuck is trying to say?

Why are my windshield wipers already worn and missing areas when in use? Literally ran wipers over 60k miles 3+ years with ZERO ISSUES on other cars.

Why does it feel like my doors are sagging and falling? I can't even describe this properly... it's just something you notice having the car for 8 months.

Why does the Bluetooth randomly not connect? Forcing you to enter your options and press connect?

The rear seat hatch in truck broke effortlessly from a detailer pushing it instead of pulling it and had to be repaired, dog shit internals.

Car loan still has 38k left on it and I feel I got ripped off hard. My 2012 mazda doesn't have any of these issues, haven't even changed the oil in 100k miles and the car is worth 2k and doesn't have any of these issues with 170k miles on it.

I have taken this car in like 5 times already and I'm given it back saying they cannot replocate the fob issue. I absolutely hate walking up to my car and pushing the button endlessly waiting for it to work and still doesnt and i grab the door handle and it STILL DOESNT UNLOCK and randomly itll work aftet 100+ pushes. Can I refuse to take it back while demanding a fully outfitted winter rental equal to my current car? I have the platinum coverage and all extended warranties. I have even submitted multiple videos of all these issues to toyota

Rear app notifications returns randomly, they are clueless
Fob issues they are clueless
Radio issues they are clueless

I have second fob, and had software updates multiple times was told it fix it all. Nope

All other issues will be brought up first time so I will see the responses

When I first saw this thread, and the only 2 threads with only 1 response from OP I was debating whether to delete thread and warn OP rather than edit out the F bombs. (I've been guilty like many others of using them)

Some responses are funny, some are snarky, but nobody crossed the red line although I doubt OP wants help and needed to get some attention ranting so helpful posts will probably be a waste of time.

Then since @sdspeed (much wiser and longer serving TN mod than lil ole me) posted in thread means I can step back content to not do anything about it and let this one ride out as a spectator and leave any moderation decisions up to him. :)

Just try and not get yourselves into trouble breaking forum rules over this one. That would suck and make us have to work. ;)

Seems like you need to try a different dealership. Whenever I've had an issue with any of the Toyotas that I've purchased over the past twenty-five years, my local dealership has always gone above and beyond to ensure that the issues are resolved correctly the first time. They've also provided a loaner or rental car for no charge anytime that I've requested one when needing anything fixed under warranty.

If your dealership is refusing to fix the issues or claims not to know how to fix the problems- go to a different dealership that is willing to actually take care of their customers. If you can demonstrate that the issues are legitimate- the dealer should keep the car until its fixed. The key fob issue especially. Just stand in front of the service writer and demonstrate that it doesn't work- and that should be enough. With that said- your quote indicated that you need to push the button on the fob "100+ times"... so my guess is that your fob has a dead battery if you are pushing the button that much.

New wiper inserts can be purchased for about $10 online. For $10, I'd skip the dealer and just replace them myself. I've always gotten a few years out of the factory wiper inserts on any Toyota that I've purchased. If your wiper inserts are bad- look up the part numbers and replace them. For $20, you'll save yourself the hassle of fighting with the dealership that you seem to dislike.

The Toyota app is telling you to check the rear seat because the car thinks that there is a chance that you've left a kid back there. Generally speaking, the car keeps track of if you've opened the rear doors before you start the car. If you don't open them when you get to your destination, it reminds you to check the rear seat to prevent people from leaving people (or perhaps items) in the back seat. This is literally designed to save lives- because there are people who have accidentally left small children back there- only for those kids to die because they were left alone in the back seat on a hot day. You can turn off the rear seat reminder within the instrument cluster menu... but it won't prevent the system from sending you a message if it's convinced that you've left a kid back there... and no, the system isn't 100% perfect... but again, if the system prevents just one sleep-deprived parent from leaving their kid back there in the hot sun... it's likely a sacrifice that's worth it.

Sagging rear doors? If they are aligned and opening/closing properly, your Toyota dealer isn't going to do anything about it. They don't repair issues based on the feeling that something might be off... and if they are opening and closing properly and seem properly aligned, they are probably within factory specs.

Bluetooth not connecting 100% of the time? Yep- that's wireless Bluetooth for you. I've had several Hondas and Toyotas with wireless Bluetooth- and none of them connected 100% of the time. This is something that's probably beyond Toyota's control... and probably has something to do with outside interference or the fact that cell phones are constantly getting updates to their software- and sometimes there's a short period of time between when Apple and Android software changes- and when Toyota updates their own system to reflect those changes.

Lastly, it seems like you are just unhappy with your Crown. That's unfortunate. Life is too short for people to have to deal with a car that they don't like. Sell it and move on. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Crowns are holding their value well- so you'll likely end up losing a bit of money when trading it in. Good luck.
