Wire/heat shrink tubing (Lots of wire)

Nav override (I know there are a few, but this one as simple)

Now the fun...
Basically I was looking around and found a few articles and used this to get me going

After the nav override was set up...Time to remove stereo

For connector I155 you are going to splice wire 17 (Speed Sensor for Nav Override) & 2 (Reverse Signal)

For connector I154 you are going to splice wire 6 (parking break)& 8 (Backup Camera +)

After removal of the head unit (HU) you are going to be splicing the wires listed above and connect as shown below

For the front camera, I dremeled into the grill to get the camera to fit behind the Toyota emblem. The camera I tought was going to sit nicly within the emblem, but it stuck out 2 inches. I have a multispeed dremel and took probably 20 minuites or so, just be careful. I used some black silicone to fix my little open area, but you can't notice.

To make things interesting, the camera I received sticks out around 1 1/2" from the emblem. So I took the grill off and dremeled the grill so the camera fit behind the emblem.
And yes I didn't was the car when I took the picture, there is nothing wrong with the car or the emblem/camera.

After putting the switch in

With the camera on

Once all of that is done, button it back up and you are done.

This is my first post, and I'm sure that I have missed something, I can update this.

Oh this is too awesome! Thanks for taking the time to post this! Ill probably be doing this mod now! I LOVE being able to see how close my bumper is to things when Im backing up, I would love to be able to do the same up front.

On that note, do you have any more pics you can post on all of it? Id love to see the emblem after you just dremeled it all out and perhaps a bit more on what exactly is going on with the relay boards as far as what specifically they are controlling and how. Also a screen shot of the camera active on the nav screen just to see what it looks like in use. And do you have any pics of the camera before it was installed?

Thanks. I'll be adding more pictures. I was wanting to take pictures during the install, but it was night and bc of that it was taking longer and forgot about the pictures. I'll dissembled the car this weekend and take some more pictures. Which pictures aren't showing up for you? I checked all the links, but they were put on from this computer...

this is what I purchased for my 2011 Camry SE and had professionally installed for the rear and front veiws.....My purpose for the front was more of a insurance discount than for parking...(As I'm tired of these NON-INSURANCE DRIVING PEOPLE!!!) I'm a student and can not keep paying these high insurance premiums.....

lets kick this thread up again. i did the rear camera for backup. I want to do the front camera also.
to turn it on during driving and if it had night vision that would be the ultimate goal. just the like bmw 7 Series.

Can we make this work for the SE model without navigation. is that possible?

lets begin!

that is how mine is set up...I do not have the toyota sat/nav radio option in my SE, so I bought a rear veiw cam w/video display in the rear veiw mirror (it fits and replaces the Camry orig. rear veiw mirror so looks very oem) I then got a a cam for the forward veiw and had it installed and it is also connected to the mirror for viewing (the mirror comes w/on off switch that allows the viewer to turn off the monitor only, so as to not be distracted while driving) So far I'm very happy with set up....will attach pics soon

Not specific to the style of view. Just asking if the centre screen is where I could see the scene from the front camera. Is there an input to the multi function screen for such an accessory ?
Yes, the video comes out of the radio's screen. Once you wire the video cable into the radio harness, you will have a video source button
