Front door speakers not working on an '07 Avalon w/ JBL System

I have an '07 Avalon with the JBL Synthesis audio system but without navigation and the two front door speakers have stopped working. I am unsure whether or not the tweeters are working as well. I had assumed the front speakers were bad so I replaced them only to find out that they still don't work. I checked the factory amp under the passenger seat and two of the three connectors going into it are covered in an unknown yellow substance. I was hoping to find a diagram to tell me which connectors going into the amp are responsible for the front door speakers so I can clean them or possibly replace them. Any information or advice would be appreciated.

All three of the connectors have the substance on/inside of them. I believe it is old dielectric grease from whoever owned the car before but I could be wrong. I think I'll be able to clean it out with an air gun or possibly some electric cleaner. The wires for the woofer are in the same connector but I haven't had an issue with that speaker so that part makes my theory questionable.

Yes dielectric or something similar is what it looks like... I cant say for that specific car, but I would be surprised if that was a manufacturer added product. Which raises the question, why did a PO take it apart and add that? What problem were they having / is this the root cause of the speaker issue? It sure seems you are on the right track here

I have no idea why a PO would have even taken it apart, unless of course they encountered the same issue I'm having. I cleaned out the connector with an air gun and plugged it back in last night and the front door speakers are still not working. I'm not really sure what to do now and I am considering just bypassing the amp altogether at this point.
