Yes, I think you captured most of the differences in your post. Exterior wise, SE is missing fog lamps and front mask chrome pieces on the bumper cover. There are many kits out there to choose from for both fogs and trim pieces. Many XSEs came with an additional hatch wing.

Fogs and trim pieces can be found on AliExpress for le$$...

Other things are interior and chassis related, e.g. hood insulator, leather(ish) power seats, heated seats, mirrors and stg wheel (depending on location), larger media screen, JBL, digital combi meter, possibly suspension springs (this one is still out for debate), etc...

Well, I too prefer XSE looks over SE and SE-Upgrade. We all have our tastes and likes

And yes, I picked up some chrome pieces for my HB from AEx, fog LEDs and many other accessories...

 

You can download a copy of the factory brochure from auto-brochures.com. There is a summary page in the brochure that lists the different features between SE and XSE.

 

I have it from the time I bought mine, but it does not show the trim pieces on the front bumper cover, etc.

I could be wrong about this, as my HB is an XSE (with the delightful 6MT), but I'm under the impression that the SE lacks the side mirror integrated turn signals. I think all other exterior cosmetic differences have already been noted... Just double-checked and I see that nobody mentioned the badge

Regarding the addition of fog lights, I just installed a set on a 23 RAV4. They are not plug and play. You'll have to install a wiring harness that will need to be run through the firewall to an interior button. You may not care about this but stock fog lights are controlled by a switch on the left column stick and feature a dash indicator light when they are on. But for the sake of outside appearance only, there are certainly options available.

 

I believe the mirrors are also heated on xse ??

 

For what it's worth....my '22 SE has heated mirrors with turn signals.

 

Unless things have changed, the SE doesn't have the hood insulator pad standard from the factory (tacky, tacky Toyota), so the engine sounds more annoyingly like it's sitting in a hollow tin can.

 

Neither my '22 SE Hatch or my wife's '22 SE sedan have the hood insulator. However, I certainly wouldn't say they sound like "tin cans". Quite the contrary, actually. But I guess that could be subjective.
