I’m curious does anyone know if we can make the Corolla hatch steering wheel heated? My sister has a 2019 rav 4 and her steering wheel looks exactly the same as the one in my Corolla. Does anyone have any insight on this? Would it be a steering wheel swap or is it even doable?

It was available for the rolls in some markets so yea it’s doable. I honestly really want to do it as well. That cold leather is no fun. There are six parts to it. See this diagram of the parts on the heater steering wheel system, and the wiring diagram.

I've looked into this. You need to install the fuse, relay behind the HVAC panel, and the switch. It's prewired. Possibly the clockspring too. Only thing I'm not sure of is the steering wheel. I noticed that even though some leather wrapped wheels are the same, the grain of the leather differs.

For example, my SE hatchback has a dimpled grain leather wheel, but I've noticed that there are smooth grain leather wheels. Which could be genuine leather and mine is synthetic. I haven't dug into part numbers enough to see what they were.

Is the steering wheel part number heated or is the heat switch what is needed to make the steering wheel heated? If I could leave the current steering wheel on there and install the switch that would be great but I’m not sure. Description on Toyota’s parts websites aren’t great
