Hey -

I need some help. My 2012 Highlander Hybrid limited with the Nav System keeps showing a "Change Engine Oil Warning" on Screen! I added oil to it, but it still showed. I checked my manual and went into the Maintenance area on the Nav System and got rid of the alert, but the message still shows. How can I get rid of this?

It's scaring my wife.

:welcome: to TN!

Its not a oil level warning, it won't auto reset after an oil change. Its programmed to come on every 5k miles. The nav has nothing to do with it (I tried the same thing first time ), its built into the ECU.

To reset it:

Turn the car on. Using the trip meter (mileage screen in gauge cluster), change it to trip "A".
Turn off the car.
While holding the stick that controls that screen down, turn the car ON again and keep holding the stick.
You will see a screen come up on the multi-information display. It will say resetting oil data (or something like that). Keep holding the stick down until it says complete. And your set.

EDIT: hang on...is it on the mini 3" screen or the navigation screen??
