Guys
I have been through this before on my 2004 Camry SE [auto 4 cyl] and have blessedly gone so long without the problem that I forgot what it took to reset it. This is probably due to carbon buildup on the throttle butterfly so its never quite closed - but I can deal with that... How do I reset the FI/ECU/TPS interplay so I get back to the baseline?
I had thought that simply pulling battery would do it: that changes the behaviour but did not cure it. When its truly reset, it idles like crap for a few days 'til it "learns" again, but otherwise the throttle response will be good to go. Does this require pulling a module and then reseating it? Does it require pulling a fuse or breaker or somethign?
I recall removing the throttle pedal previously but I don't think that was actually necessary... i just cannot recall what the steps were :headbang: :headbang:
