ive got a piece of 3/16 brake line depressing the unlock side down as far as it will go. does this on both sides pass/driver

thanks for all the ideas. they would probally work in a populated area but we live in the sticks.
body shop buddy gave me a blood pressure cup spreader. was able to pound on the lock switch with a plastic garden stake and switch will still only work on the lock side on both sides

had to go to dealer and get a key cut.
the unlock side of the switch would not work. it would lock but not unlock
