Is anyone familiar with the kit listed here for the 3sfe?

I'm thinking about rebuilding a 3sfe with 11:1 compression - would this increase the power output by a significant amount? Also, would any shop in Southern California be able to rebuild the engine with this kit?

You'll get a increase in power. But how much, I don't know.

Stock compression ratio on a 3S-FE is 9.3:1.

Theres plenty of shops in California, so I'm sure you'll have no problem finding one that'll build your engine.

Check with local machine shops or engine builders.

1mm overbore and +5mm of stroke will get you to 5S-FE specs, hehe. The 2ZZ-GE has a compression ratio of 11.5:1, but then again, the engine was designed for performance along w/ a calibrated ECU. 10:1 or 10.5 might be doable.
