Hood deflector, easy to install byself?

HI,

My Friend has given me a brand new Hood Deflector because when he bought his car, he asked for one for free, so when he came to pick up his car, they said the hood deflector is free but he has to install it himself.

So he doesn't want it anymore and gave it to me for free because he didn't want to install it himself.

How hard is it to install this hood deflector? It doesn't come with a manual to what to do. I did not open the package yet but see screws and all but I am not really wanting to put screws into my hood.

its on a honda though

I've seen other vids on youtube for installation on different makes and all are different but I dont think you would need to put screws in your hood

its pretty easy, just make sure to apply the 3m clear tape under the clips and put the rubber nipples ON THE HOOD evenly separated. takes about 15 mins. to do it. Make sure the surface is clean.

When I was looking into getting one installed on my 03, they said it takes 15 minutes to install if I go with them, it def maybe something you could do on your own though. Know any buddies in the area that can help you out? I'm not too far away, I just joint tonight anyways, if I can lend a helping hand just let me know!

Edit: I guess we posted ^ at the same time, it does really take 15 minutes then.

It's very easy. I installed one on my 07 Matrix in the stated 15 minute time frame.

imo if your car isnt chipped i would get 3M protection put on instead. covers more and looks better imo.
