seriously, if you're trying to cure that screech, do the simple things first like adjusting the belt.

Draining the PS fluid is a mess, and complete waste of time and labour when its not going to solve your problem. Open your PS fluid reseviour, if the fluid is not dirty leave it alone for now. The fluid usually is a amber colour, or a very dark cherry red. The latter is more common.

yes, i don't think the problem could be caused by the power steering fluid. if anything, it could be caused by a low level of it, but i've already asked him that question, although he hasn't answered.

yes, it is a bit messy, but most car work is messy anyway. as for it being a waste of time, well, if it makes him feel better that's all that matters. sometimes you replace things that weren't the exact cause of a problem, but at least you know you have a new part instead of a 10 year old thing that could let go any time.

* check power steering belt tension, I WILL TIGHTEN-UP A BIT LITTLE TO SEE DIFFERENCE.
* check power steering fluid level. I WILL TRY TO SEE COLOUR. BUT, FOR SURE I NEVER CHANGED IT COMPLETELY RATHER THAN TOP IT UP SINCE THE DAY MY BRO IS DRIVING MORE THAN 8 YEARS BY NOW.

To remedy this problem, I suggest developing a leak.


My 95's leaked for a year and a half now. I just continually top it off.

You can also do that with engine (or gearbox) oil, Saves on costly oil changes.

You could even do it with your pertol, with a small hole in the tank you could remove the fuel filter.

 

THANKS FOLKS.....

We flushed the power-steering pump with miniature rotary pump with flexible tubing and proper fittings with almost 4-5 litres of fluid until the color matches with original one.

The steering performance is much much better than ever before.
PROBLEM IS SOLVED.
