How difficult to replace rear struts on 2002 Toyota Camry?

Your spring is broken. I had replaced all 4 struts on my 2002 camry at around 130k miles, re-used the springs. It wasn't bad at all . I had a tough time getting the silly nut off the sway bar endlink. I had bought Monroe OESpectrum struts, and new rubber bellows and a spring compressor. Aside that reused the mounts.

Since your spring is broken, perhaps you can just get a "quick strut" assembly which comes with everything. So you can likely get one side done in about 1.5 hrs even if you just have manual tools, floor jack stands. Check out rockauto...
