How do I disable the alarm on my 2014?

Today I took my vehicle in because of a Tire Pressure indicator light issue. Discount tire replaced two sensors and that issue was solved. However, as I got it home and turned it off, I noticed that the light indicating the alarm was enabled was blinking on my dash panel. I don't want the alarm activated, and I have no idea how it got that way from the tire shop, but somehow it looks like they activated it there. Anyway, I have tried what the owner's manual said to do to deactivate it and it's still flashing. It's not blaring with loud sound to deter burglars, but I don't want the flashing light on the dash panel. Any tips on how to turn this off, knowing that I'm also turning off the alarm itself?

You sure that's not just the engine immobilizer?

I've tried it once on my old car before selling it. Well, you can do the following:
Insert the key into the driver's door and turn it to the right (clockwise) to lock the doors.
Turn the key to the left (counterclockwise) to unlock the doors.
I had to repeat this process a couple of times before it finally worked for me.
