hi
just found out there is no jack and no special rod piece to lower the spare, 2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5. called 6 places, nobody has the kit, nobody knows what size the square part is. looks like 1/2" square drive from photos but?

can the tire be lowered by reaching up and turning the thing by hand? or is that not possible? how can it be McGyver'ed down by using parts you find sitting around?

I'm not sure on how to lower it, but you can order the stuff from a dealer who can usually next day deliver it.

Here are the part numbers and a bit of info:

Lug wrench - 09150-AD020

Used on:

2001-2007 Sequoia
1999-2006 Tundra
1996-2004 Tacoma
1995-1998 T100

There are 3 pieces of the cranking rod. The jack end, center, and crank end. All 3 are specific to the 2001-2007 Sequoia and are not interchangeable with other vehicles.

Jack end rod - 09115-0C020

Center rod - 09114-0C020

Jack end rod - 09116-0C010

You can probably use the Tundra parts as well, even if they don't interchange, as the only likely difference is that they are longer than the Sequoia parts (rods) and they look identical. This only applies to 1999-2006 Double Cab or Access Cab (extended cab) models as the regular cab models have a one piece rod that is too short.
