they definitely look great with tinted windows. like the car was designed that way.

looks a lot better now tint is a great somewhat inexpensive mod that enhances the look of any car hah

btw what does GTA mean? i always think "grand theft auto" when i see that

I might lower it, MIGHT but it'll be at least a year from now. I got to find out where I am working before I lower it, I don't want to deal with potholes and such. If I know I'm taking the train to work or whatever and the car will just mostly be driven on weekends then I'll lower it, but if I have to drive thru potholes frequently then it probably wont happen. I don't want to mess it up, or my suspenion and from the sounds of my "mechanics" stories it's not a good thing to lower in the GTA lol too much snow/potholes lol

My dealer installed 30 percent on my blue streak. They did a horrible job on it three times.
Anyway I took it to a friends shop and had them do it. I had 15% on it plus the windshield strip.

It made the car look so much better.

That's awesome. Glad you got it re-done, I wasn't willing to pay the dealer's price tag. This was MUCH cheaper and it looks AMAZING! if i do say so myself lol

Went and got my windows tinted at Audio Heaven today...

35%, 23% back and rear.


Had an excellent experience. I encourage anyone who wants to get there windows done and they live in the GTA to stop in and see Jeff. He's awesome! They did an awesome job.

That's my mommy's "toy" for the summer. I believe it's a 06 if i remember right.....
She has a winter car (which is in our garage at the house where I grew up) but it just so happened they had gotten home while I was washing the car... so it decided to play peek-a-boo.... the charger is my step dads.

Slight Correction. That looks like a SXT base Charger (an Intrepid with a Charger Shell) or even an Avenger

BMW > SXT Charger (3.5L)

R/T or SRT Charger (5.7L or 6.1L) > BMW

 

very nice! tint % goes very well with blue. i'm still thinking a bit darker for mine.

Did you take the rear deck out so they can tint around the fow break light?

oh i mean head on of the rear window i saw that one that your talking about i just wanted to see how it looks with the tint cut around that break light i'm not sure if i want to take that out just so they can tint around that

 

oh, it's not cut out though, the whole thing is covered, they went over it, it's completely tinted :s Maybe they took it I dunno but he told me they didn't cut it out..

 

Thats cool i can' wait to get my windows tinted i'll have to contact a tint place near me I hope they can get that entire rear window tinted i think that would make a nice clean statement

 

They did it all for her, and tinted over the brake light.

There's a thread here i believe it's title is "Tints and HIDs installed" or something, it has a pic with the brake light cut out...i like it better with it covered though..

Hey yea I saw that picture of the rear window with the cut out for the break light def would rather have them tint the entire rear window with no cut out. Cutipie19 can you ask them if they took the rear deck out? i wonder if a good tinter can get the tint around that?

 

I will e-mail him about it. He never asked if he could remove it so I assume he didnt, but I'll confirm and see if they do remove it. He said they have done several Corolla's, especially the new ones. It's too bad you don't live closer, I would totally recommend you going there!

 

Well in a sense yes. And i never claimed the SE to be a performance based car. But when compared to the LE or XLE it is.
