Repair procedure says to set grille shutter into maintenance mode before replacing it, and then once it is replaced, it would self initialize.

Having already replaced it, if it has not self initialized, sounds like you may need TechStream or dealer to complete the initialization...

 

Hi were you able to figure out how to initialize and cancel maintenance mode?

i’m having the same issue after replacing the actuator in a ‘17 prime.

 

Sadly no went to a shop and paid $80 to have them reset it..

Hey, 2021 with 200K miles is pretty cool Any major issues or comments about having so many miles on a relatively new car/model from reliability and ownership experience?

 

This car has been awesome to drive. Slight gas mileage drop over the years (down from 52ish to 48ish) I just got over 250000 miles changed the breaks once and just did all 4 shocks more as preventative maintenance rather than need. Oil change once a month and with how much I drive tires every 6 to 8 months. Car has treated me well and hope to hit a million miles before I am done!!
