probably just use a dremel or holesaw or drill or something and cut a hole in the door, or you could possibly get a door panel from the scrapyard

 

Op, are you going to mount it behind the mirror? The mounting hoke is already there. Open your door panel to see if you're prewired for the tweeter

You can install tweeters easily. Just buy used OEM ones online and install them. Be sure to also buy the cover for the tweeter. I just installed mine a few weeks ago, and yes, I think all NA corollas are pre wired.

So accidentally the snow trucks damaged my front passenger door so now I need a new door. My old one did not have the system so now the one that I bought have it and I plan install it on the driver’s one.

 

So far parting out my XRS Matrix Toyota pretty much prewired everything regardless of model. The only thing I didn’t see prewired was the JBL audio package.

May or may not work on a Corolla S, but one could see if the JBL door pillar tweeters from a junked Corolla or from eBay or similar would be a fit.

This is what the OEM JBL system tweeter looks like on an 05.

 

I have a ‘05 S with those same tiny tweeters but without the JBL system as bennor posted - interesting. I wonder if they shared speakers between JBL and non JBL systems?

The factory tweeters aren’t good at all imo. You’ll have significant improvement going to 3 ways speakers front and back.

 

No jbl speakers were of better quality. Plus the amplifier was included in the package. But tweeter should be fine. Same size as the lower optioned S/LE 6 speaker option.
