Long story short, my2010 matrix stalled the other day and i had it towed to the dealer.
they changed for my rear left abs sensor (c0215) and changed my ecm, then asked 1400$ to change the full engine harness since they didint know what else could be the problem. brought the car back home, all the codes were cleared (they changed the ecm), drove 120km before it stalled again (abs and brake light turned on a minute before it stalled). brought it back home and the following codes were on: P0121,P0123,P2135,P060D,C0215,P0300,P0171,P0172,P050B.
I tested every unit/wire i could think about ,the bus,all grounds, checked the rear left ABS sensor, all wires between ecm and tps/accelerator pedal.
then erased the codes again and took it for a drive (40km) without any issue.

anyone had an intermittent P060D
or any other similar problem?

thanks for any help.

the 1st 3 have to do with the throttle possition

"p060D" iv never seen or heard of BUT p0600 is a serial comm link failure

dont know what the hell that "C" code is

the p03000 is randon missfire

the p0171 = lean
p0172 = rich

and ive never seen or heard of that last one.

the P0600 (is thats correct) is probably the problem and could not be communicating with the throttle correctly. this will set off the throttle codes and the rich / lean codes as well. right before it shuts down is probably when you get the missfire...

a really good scanner (im talking thou$and$) could tell you the order at which the codes happened, the time at which they happened, what EVERYTHING else was doing when it happened, and if you drive the car with it, you can see the problems in real time

i dont know if ANY of this helps you though.

I can see why. A lady came in with an echo the other day that had her harness replaced for about the same price.

I'd recheck all your connections. Can you take the freeze frame data off each code? If they all turn out to be the same, then they probably are caused by the same thing. If they are different, then it could be a domino effect.

They replaced the ECU?

I'm rather surprised an OBD scanner could pick up that "C" code. It's your left wheel speed sensor. Toyota specific. All the other codes could be traced back to a faulty throttle body (lean, rich, P060D P050B). Most of your codes are Toyota specific. It seems like it may be a throttle body. Do you know how to test one?
