Good question. A front and rear strut or sway bar would help the venza in the handling departartment. Let me know if you find one!

 

my main goal is a thicker sway bar to make the car roll less in corners. nothing about crazy cornering speed nor race style driving, but less roll in every day driving.

If you want strut bar, I have an solution which work very good for me in the past.
spray those foam filler (Great stuff from home hardware store) to fill up the under car rail, door sills. That make the car noticeable stiffer. the plus is less road noise. You can even fill the suspension work more precise as it have a more stiff platform. have done this to various car like GS300, Miata, Ford contour, civic del so, all with after market suspension with great result.

 

I've looked for one too and haven't found any. I wonder if welding small bars on the inside corners of the sway bar (to increase the rigidity of the bar) would help. Hard to tell if there's enough clearance for that.

Welding the L shaped corners together might make the bar too rigid. The bar works as a torsion bar and the twisting of the long horizontal section is where the resistance is created. Increasing the diameter of the bar is about the only way to do it correctly.

 

I'd check into getting some energy suspension polyuerthane swaybar end links and bushings. It will make your stock bars work better. Even just a set of good endlinks like Moog can be an upgrade too. OEM links are usually pretty flimsy and the sway bar bushings are just soft rubber which makes the sway bar not work as well as it could.

 

polyuerthane swaybar bushing are prone to make noise.I have to re-lube every season to take out the noise in my past car. I hope there is something like a 20mm bar that can fit our car.

Ha part of the reason why I liked the Venza over an Edge or Murano is that it was not as top heavy and more Wagon like.

At times I think my wife forgets she is not driving her Scion TC anymore.

 

I think those stickers are placed on vehicles with higher centers of gravities because of the problem the early Ford Bronco's had tipping over when a quick steering correction was made. I think Consumer Reports magazine are the ones that found this problem with the Bronco's.

 

The stickers, the TPMS and VSC systems are a direct result of the the Ford rollover fiasco - Ford under inflated Firestone tires that blew out and killed many people through rollovers. Ford blamed Firestone and Firestone blamed Dord for under inflating their tires. It was as big as the toyota UIA fiasco.

 

I wouldn't worry. An upgraded rear away bar will actually help prevent body roll and rollovers.

My friend found an upgraded rear sway bar for his Cherokee many years ago and it made a huge difference. That plus adjustable rancho rs9000 shocks made for a very sporty flat cornering Jeep.
