Low idle, Vibration fix

My wife's 2009 Corolla S has 107,000 miles. Early on it developed a low idle and vibration while stopped at a light. It was idling about 600 rpm after it warmed up. It never stalled but occasionally vibrated. After doing some research I found some were having success cleaning the throttle body and throttle plate. I did that along with changing the spark plugs. At that time I disconnected the battery to reset the computer. She has put about 2,000 miles on it since then and it never idles below 800 rpm. The vibration hasn't been back either. I believe it was the throttle body/ plate cleaning and disconnecting the battery that resets the computer that fixed it. The plugs still looked good at 105 K miles, but I had new ones so I put them in. I bought a can of Berryman b12 choke & carb cleaner and sprayed a little on the throttle body and plate and then sprayed some on a rag and wiped down the body and plate. It was quite dirty.
If your having any idle issues this might be worth a try. Hope it helps someone.
Sorry if this is a replete thread.

My 2009 Toyota Camry started having Idling problems which is common at 77k- 80k. I read on some site online of a guy who performed a Sea Foam treatment. I went ahead and performed one on mine as well as cleaned the TB which looked clean but had minimal dirt and poured the rest in the gas tank, and my car hasn't had low idle. I am happy because the hesitation is gone no rough idle better gas mileage. I would suggest running a Sea Foam through the IACV line letting it sit for 15 min and cut the car on and rev to 2000RPM's til smoke has cleared the drive around the block and see how it rides good luck

I googled for nearly an hour without a clear pic or description. I even tried looking at the directions on how to install an aftermarket intake to see if they mentioned the vacuum line in the instructions but no luck. I'll definately write a simple diy when I finally figure it out.

Got to say mine didnt start till 200,000 miles. I cleaned the throttle body, changed spark plugs etc. Still had issues. I noticed sometimes on cold starts it would make a roaring sound. Connected the reader and saw there was drops going on. It was my alternator not getting enough voltage that caused the low idle while stopped.

I have a 2017 Carolla with 106k miles. My car started giving me the same symptoms lately. I am going to try cleaning the throttle body and see if it helps. Thank u for this post.
