Anyone used aftermarket lower control arms? If so, what brand did you used? Thanks Jerry

I just did mines about two weeks ago. So far they feel good and no issues. I'll update the forum if anything changes.

I went with the Delphi LCA's from RA. They are made in China, but seems like a decent quality. One thing I I did note that the Delphi LCA's weigh a lot less than the OEM. The welds on the OEM were a lot cleaner, but for the price difference and lifetime warranty I ended up going with Delpi. The only one I would recommend staying away is Moog. I ordered them from Amazon first and returned them immediately. Really sub-bar build quality in my opinion.

Hope that helps.

Interesting on Moog. I have used Moog for most front end parts on all cars over the years. I just rebuilt much of the font end of an 11 Avalon that included Moog LCAs (with bushings, ball joints) and (greaseable) tie rod ends. About 3 years ago I used the same Moog front LCAs (with bushings, ball joints) on an 09 Avalon and never had an issue. The feel, weight and look are the same as the OEM that I removed.

I don't disagree that Moog is an after quality parts supplier. I have used Moog Tie-Rods, sway bar links and bushings for the Avalon without issues. But the LCA's for the Avalon (at least from what I can see and order) was the R Series, which is their value series. I did weight them when I got them (wish I had the pics), but the Moog was significantly lighter than the other two. I am no car expert :) , just my observations.

Cheers
