Just got back from our annual Mammoth off road trip! Here are some pics;
Having fun in the mud!
There were several water crossings and blasting through them is always top priority.

Wonderful views on the way to Mono Lake.

Exploring caves and mines up Silver/Wyman Canyon. The trail is easy but be aware there are narrow shelf roads on the way up to 11,000 feet.

At the top! Great views.

Misses and the boy.

At the top of one of the peaks leaving Bodie. The shale is insanely sharp and cuts chunks out of tires.

The trio. I was amazed at how low the new 4-runner is in stock form. He high sided a couple of times and got stuck and needed to turn on his electrical aids (A-TRAC).

Another pic of the trio.

Going up Dead Man's pass. Easy route. Narrow though. Had to fold in my mirrors. Came pretty close to trees.

Hope you enjoyed the pics.

I do have a lift. It's a 2010 ltd so no airbag suspension. I did add airbags to the coil springs though to assist with load leveling. I can tell you more about it if interested. Search my name and you should be able to find my build thread. Let me know if you have any questions.
