My 2009 Corolla started idling low and stalling out. Check engine light came on and it was firing up but idling low then eventually started stalling out. Replaced fuel pump, checked spark plugs & replaced because 1 & 4 were misfiring. I switched the plugs and they said the same thing, 1 & 4 misfire, is this an issue with the ecu or maybe the wiring? Please help I'm not a mechanic and I need to get back on the road and don't have the extra funds to dump into things that won't solve my problem. Thanks y'all! God bless

Try swapping the coils. I’d do 1 and 2 swap to verify that the misfire moves to cylinder 2. Check the spring at the bottom of each coil. Spring could be collapsed and isn’t compressing onto the plug.
