New Battery, now it won't idle

2002 Camry XLE V6, 97,000 miles. I put in a new battery today, when I drove to the store, it ran, started fine, etc, but the battery was about done for. So I bought a new one and put it in. Instantly, it had a hard start, took 2 or 3 cranks to get it running, but it wouldn't idle. I've driven it all day, 3 times on the interstate and it still won't idle. I went back and had the battery and alternator checked, both are good. So... why won't it idle? Why the rough starts? I have NO idea what would cause this.

Maybe the fuel filter? If so... is it an inline filter that I can change?

It's not long or short term fuel trims that need to be relearned. The idle has to be relearned. The fuel filter will have nothing to do with the battery replacement.

The OP should start the car and sit with it at idle in gear. The car will then relearn idle.

This is another example of something that has been covered MANY times. A simple search could have avoided making yet another thread about a topic that's been covered with great frequency.
