My 36K mile warranty expired the other day, but I went to the dealer at 35,995 miles and had them take a list of all the problems I got. There's going to be a Toyota Rep coming to the dealer on the 18th to look it over and authorized the repairs.

Oh and the supercharger is covered under the 60K mile powertrain warranty.

I’m not buying it. Picture was too crappy, even for a camera phone. TRD link was no good, how convenient. And I also think that power rating sounded low for this motor and proposed boost.
That being said, I'm calling :bullshit2

Yea I call shens...that is NOT our 1GR-FE motor in that pic. 1st there is no Long Oil Filler neck in that pic and it would easily be visible even in a crappy pic like that. 2nd I don't see the upsidedown mounted Oil Filter and Oil Catch. I call shenanagans on this pic hardcore...

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...mine hasnt seem to blow up yet and its not stock..if you get a TRD blower if you blow it up it will be covered under warranty still since you have the TRD charger and not some other aftermarket.

its only under waranty if you have a dealer install it. and what the dealer is charging for labor nowadays, plan on shelling out some big bucks for that on top of your 3k bill for the SC. the blower (if it ever comes out) will more than likely be using a 6lb pulley, and with a roots type blower, you arent going to get too much power out of it. if you mod anything else to get more power (smaller pulley, fuel mods, ect) you void the waranty, and even if you get through the waranty period unscathed, the blower WILL put more stress on everything. rings, pistons, rods, bearings, trans ect. so rebuilds will come more frequent than a engine without a blower. no brainer there.

besides, making a truck fast is like trying to make a 4cyl car fast... you can do it, but there are a ton of other vehicles that will go faster for less $$$.

i agree, it is kinda high for an engine with a 10:1 compression.
