Noise filters or what?

Hey all. Was checking out bank one oil valve (related to P0015 code thrown) and found what the diagrams are telling me is a noise filter that had its connector wire broken off. Don’t think I did It, seemed like it was already broken off for a while. See pics. I’m trying to get a new connector (vs soldering to such a small piece) but everywhere I go they can’t even seem to find a noise filter that looks anything like this, if that’s what this is. The connector with the broke. Sure attaches to the silver looking box (noise filter?) that’s attached by a bracket to the side of the block, just near plug number 5 by the firewall. It doesn’t go to anything, just mounts to the aide of the block. You he connector end goes into the main wire harness, just one red wire. Anyone know what this thing is and what it does? Alldata diagram shows it as “noise filter (ignition no 2)” with one on each side of thev6, but everywhere I go for the part they are stumped. Not seeing a noise filter anything like it. It’s Sunday so I’ll go to dealer tomorrow. Thank you.

These are capacitors that connect between the ignition power feed and engine block, one for each cylinder bank, to suppress ignition noise in the audio system (particularly AM radio). If you do not hear any background noise that varies with RPM of the engine, then it is not essential to replace the one that has failed. Use the part number to search for the lowest price online.

Thanks. Haven't noticed any background noise, but i soldered the broken wire and reinstalled the connector to the condenser. i was hoping it being disconnected was something drastic that would fix all my troubles. but guess not. Appreciate the response!
