can someone test this on their vehicle.

when i have the front windows down about an inch and a half, and drive over bumpy roads, i would hear the glass on the front doors rattle.

rattle can also be reproduced by opening and closing of the door, have to listen carefully tho, the rattle sound is after the "thump" sound.

open the window anymore and its not so noticeable.

thanks for any help.

I stuck a kleenex in the back ceiling area. After this there were less rattles but a slight squeak because of the kleenex.
That is the worst noise. I have a lot of noises but none of them are very bad. The back windows rattle a little over extreame bumps.
If you drive over uneven roads sometimes I hear a slight rattle from the front end but a friend thinks this is normal suspension.
Unless they get worse I will ignore them. They are very low. If I have any music on or even air I can't really hear them.
My parents gave me a CObalt as a gift. It had rattles so I took it in. They became a lot worse before they were fixed.
That car also leaked tranmission fluid, coolant and gas in the same month. All under warranty but it lead me to trade it in for the corolla.
I hate rattles though. I think I will buy my next car used and drive it down a bad road for the test drive. Then I sort of know what to expect.

I hear a "geiger counter'' type noise from all over my car. It is in the headliner. Left side , right side, at the dome light, basically all over. I have had it in the dealer to find the problem twice but it is still there. The material for the headliner is "crackly" when you push on it. Somehow the vibration from the road causes it to sound like the car is radioactive. I have heard other rattles up front near the left vent but nothing related to the window. The smoother the road the less I hear it but it is very annoying
