Out of the blue I was sent an invitation and accepted it. Below is the confirmation I received, I'm guessing I can bring a camera. I let you guys know what I see.

We look forward to seeing you at “Corolla Elevated” on June 6 at 7:00 pm. You will need to bring a photo ID to the event. Attendees must be age 21 or older.

The event, which will be held at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, promises to be an unexpected and unforgettable event, featuring the world debut of the all-new Corolla.

Should be a swag event...Barker Hanger is usually where Hollywood puts on their stuff and what not. I figure all the automotive media will be there as well.

Cool! Thanks for posting the reveal. Also, the Canadian Debut of the 2014 Corolla is tomorrow at 9:30 EDT and they are showing it on Toyota Canada's website.I also converted the time zones and found out instead of watching the reveal at 8:00PM PST,I am actually watching it at 11:00PM EDT.The sad thing is that I have a midnight job tonight :( I guess I will have to see the Canadian Reveal instead.

So quick recap....
Adam Carolla showing up was awesome.
The Liquid Nitrogen Margaritas and ice cream were great
The gourmet Mexican food was fantastic, the Cajun food not so much
Okay now the car.
The redesign looks tons better in person. I saw the photos post before the reveal and they do not do the car justice. They had 2 S models, 1 LE, and 1 LE ECO. The interior is MUCH improved and appears to be a cross from the Camry and Scion tC. The interior materials look really good in the S and slightly less impressive in the LE. The headliner is much nicer and the center console is dual opening with a top and bottom box area, but there is only a single glove box now. The rear deck for the speakers is still made of cheap plastic. The steering wheel is thicker and has a better feel. The LE and S have different speedos, the S being sportier. All of the cars had push button start and power seats. The seat material varied with the LE ECO having leather heated seats, the S had Softex, and the LE had a nice fabric. The seats are all MUCH nicer looking and MUCH more comfortable. There is more leg room in front and back. I can actually sit comfortably in the driver’s seat, something I cannot do in my 2010 Corolla. All of the cars did not have dual climate control. On the outside the LE ECO had carbon fiber accents both on the front and rear fascia which looked well placed and easy on the eyes. The S models were equipped with lip spoilers. The colors were much nicer than the current offerings especially on the Blizzard White Pearl LE. The engines were mostly carryover 2ZRFE except the LE ECO which had the 2ZRFAE Valvematic. All of the cars had CVT's, but the LE ECO transmission looked a lot different than others.

Any questions?

Video coming soon

Whoa, the 2.4 2AZ from the Xrs models?

I've been reading that its gonna be a 1.8L engine. I would've assumed it would've been a carryover of the 1.8 2ZR-FE because of how 'newish' it is.
